Statement of Faith

To the LORD God belong the heavens, even the highest heavens, the earth and everything in it. Deuteronomy 10:14

We believe there is one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. He exists in three persons God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.  God, while three (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) is one and the same.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father. For our salvation Jesus came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit He was born of the Virgin Mary.  For our sake Christ was crucified under Pontius Pilate; He suffered death and was buried. On the third day Christ rose in accordance with the Scriptures; He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. Luke 1; Luke 23 and 24; Ephesians 2:8-10.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Third Person of the Trinity, that He is a gift from God, ever present and active in and with the Church (believers). John 14:15-18, 26

Eternal Life with God

We believe there is only one way to heaven and that is through our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and that no one comes to the Father but through Jesus. John 14:6

By the blood and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ we are made new in Him. Hebrew 10; 1 John 1:7; and Rev 1.

We believe that man is saved by grace through faith and not by works, it is the gift of God. Both grace and faith are a gift from God and are not earned by works, so that no man may boast. Ephesians 2:8-10.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Romans 10:17

We believe the Bible (66 books consisting of the Old and New Testaments) is the Holy inspired and irrefutable Word of God which is to be our final authority in all matters of faith and life.  2 Timothy 3:15-17; Revelation 22:18-19

Water Baptism

We believe water baptism by immersion is the means by which people are to publicly profess their faith in Christ and identify themselves with his death, burial, and resurrection. Matthew 3:13-16; Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38

Marriage is between a man and a woman which is a gift from God. For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh. Genesis 2:18-24; Ephesians 5:25-33.
