Repentance & Revival

America, as a nation must repent for her sins or be condemned by Christ Jesus. As a nation we have crossed over the precipice and are heading for destruction like a runaway train with satan at the controls. America has turned her back on God.

What once was forbidden in America is now praised. This includes the killing of more than 700,000 unborn children each year in this country which is supported by the government. Drugs, alcohol, homosexuality, and fornication are not just tolerated in America they have become widely celebrated (the norm).

America has made an art form of worshiping self. The Bible commands that we worship no other god but the one true God (the God of Abraham and Isaac). Exodus 20:1-3; Matthew 6:24 Yet, in the United States money, the world and self have become the nation's leading idols.

God hates idolatry and all other evil. Deuteronomy 17:2-5; Romans 6:23; John 8:24 All who are not born again in our Lord Jesus Christ including unrepentant murderers, immoral persons, idolaters, and liars will be thrown into the lake of fire by Jesus' judgment. Revelation 21:8 God is calling each of us to repent, turn from sin and turn to Him. 1 John 5:12 He is gracious and loving and wants to bring us into His family. 1 Timothy 2:3-4; Revelation 3:20 For, "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:13

In order for there to be revival in America we must repent for our personal sins and the nation's corporate sins. We must seek God in expectant prayer, and the Word of God must be taught in our homes, our churches and throughout our nation including public places.

If this nation does not turn away from evil and return to God, America will not survive. Daniel 4:32

Many, filled with pride, proclaim that America is the most powerful nation in history and cannot fail. But, they are blind. It is God who sets the boundaries of all nations and the time and day of nations including America. Acts 17:26 For man to take credit is to call God a liar.

The Roman Empire ruled from England to Africa, from Syria to Spain covered most of the known world. One in four people in the world were under Roman rule. It was the greatest power known for nearly 500 years. Yet, because of idolatry and depravity she was crushed, destroyed and removed from her place of pride and glory. In contrast, the United States is less than 300 years old. If the Roman empire can fall so can America.

The same traps that befell the Roman empire are ensnaring America (lust, greed, idolatry, debauchery, love of self, the list goes on). As a nation we must turn back to our only true protector, Christ Jesus. Jesus is the substance of our protection and favor and only through Him do we have access to our Father God. As a nation we must repent and turn to God through Jesus Christ or parish for eternity.

If we fail to hear His call and fail to turn from evil then an eternity in hell awaits. Job 34:11; Isaiah 59:18; Matthew 7:13-19, 21-23; John 8:24; Hebrews 10:26-27; Revelation 20:14-15; Revelations 21:7-8; Revelation 2:22

No one knows the day or hour when the Lord will return but He teaches us to be prepared, be ready. He promises that He is coming quickly. Luke 17:22-36 and Revelation 22:20

Turn to God, call out to God for forgiveness of your sins. Accept Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of your life so that you may have eternal life. Acts 2:20-24 and Romans 10:9-13
